FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

STOPDRLAURA/ST. LOUIS ANNOUNCES PROTEST
AGAINST FOX 2
MAY 13, 3PM

StopDrLaura/St. Louis has announced a protest of Fox Channel 2 on Saturday May 13th at 3:00pm regarding their decision to air Dr. Laura this fall.

St. Louis is a wonderful city where the LGBT community is very integrated into the mainstream, we are one of only a few cities with a domestic patnership ordinance, our mayor is in touch with our community and speaks at our massive pride celebration, and LGBT people rennovate the city's historic homes and breathe new life into old neighborhoods side by side with our straight neighbors. Dr. Laura was dropped from St. Louis radio some time ago, and for FOX 2 to decide to provide her an outlet to spread hate, lies, intolerance, and ignorance into our city is an outrage!  So far the community at large is energized about this protest. This is all about "Family Values", and the LGBT community will bring their parents, siblings, etc. as well as our neighborhood and church families out in force to the protest to tell FOX 2 and Paramount that "FAMILY STICKS TOGETHER" and the St. Louis community will not stand for Dr.Laura's slander about the LGBT community, people with AIDS, and feminists.

To help organize and promote this event you may call (314) 776-8218 or e-mail at cosmogroove@tdpnet.com.   Chris Andoe StopDrLaura/St.Louis
